I no longer remember the original link, but the article she sent highlighted sidewalk chalk art. Rather than simply drawing on the pavement, you interact with the drawing and snap a picture. For example, you draw a balloon, then have your kid lie down on the ground, pretending to hold onto the string, as you shoot photos.
The results are adorable...and hilarious. I also like that this activity is easy to adapt to different aged kids. With younger children, they can "star" in the photos inside illustrations drawn by grown-ups, while tweens and teens can draw around each other and then take pictures on their own.
